What is the cause of vulvar pain?

Studies have found that the causes of vulvar pain are mainly related to a variety of factors such as infection, trauma, vulvar ulcers, abnormal hormone levels and tissue changes, causing acute and chronic injuries and histological changes such as inflammatory infiltration in the vulva, which can manifest as local haematomas, erythema, tenderness, burning pain and occasionally pain in the thighs and perineum area.
In addition, some medications, psychological and irrational dietary habits in life can also cause it.
