How many degrees of fever is considered high fever

Three areas are commonly used to measure body temperature: the mouth, the armpit and the anus. The axillary temperature is commonly used, and a temperature of 39°C to 41°C is considered high fever, and over 41°C is considered super high fever. For patients who are thin, comatose or children, and for patients with certain specific diseases, anal or oral measurements are required. For general clinical testing of body temperature, axillary measurement is commonly used. Normal axillary body temperature is 36℃~37℃, low fever is 37.3℃~38℃, moderate fever is 38.1℃~39℃, high fever is 39.1-41℃, and ultra-high fever is 41℃ or more. Generally the body temperature is over 38.5℃, you need to take antipyretic medicine. In normal people, the temperature of the armpit is 0.3℃ to 0.6℃ lower than the oral temperature, and the rectal temperature is 0.3℃ to 0.5℃ higher than the oral temperature. Once a fever is detected, certain cooling measures should be taken to prevent abnormalities such as dehydration, convulsions, and nerve damage. Pay attention to rest, drink more water, eat more fruits and vegetables, and exercise properly. In case of high fever, while applying antipyretic drugs, pay attention to finding the cause of the fever and go to the hospital in time to avoid delaying the condition.
