Manifestations of phantom hearing

The manifestations and symptoms of hallucinations can be diverse, for example, patients can hear various kinds and nature of sounds out of thin air, such as speech, singing, radio, and so on. The most common are verbal hallucinations, among which commentary hallucinations and command hallucinations are more common. The content of commentary hallucinations is mostly criticism, sarcasm, ridicule or even threatening or abusing the patient, and the patient is often particularly painful, angry, scared or even excited, excited or self-injurious or hurtful; command hallucinations are mostly orders to do something, often against the patient’s will, such as hurting themselves or hurting others.
