In the first month of pregnancy, which is about 30 days after menopause, it is normal to see no fetal heart and germ at this time. Usually, you will see the fetal bud at 40-50 days of pregnancy and the fetal heart at 50-60 days. The time of appearance of fetal bud and fetal heart is related to the pregnant woman’s menstrual cycle and ovulation time, usually there are two cases as follows: 1. regular menstruation: if you have regular menstruation and normal ovulation, it is generally recommended to do ultrasound examination around 60 days of pregnancy to see whether there is fetal heart and fetal bud; 2. irregular menstruation: if you have irregular menstruation, ovulation time may be delayed and the fertilized egg will be late to be laid. The embryo differentiation will also be delayed accordingly, and the fetal heartbeat and fetal bud will appear later. If you do not see a fetal heartbeat or fetal bud in the early stages of pregnancy, do not be too alarmed, you can repeat the ultrasound for one week and observe again. If no fetal bud or heartbeat is seen after 9 weeks, you should be alerted to the possibility of embryonic abortion, and if necessary, you should be hospitalized to terminate the pregnancy.
