What do you know about vaginitis?

Senile vaginitis is caused by a sharp decline in estrogen levels in women after menopause, which leads to a thinning of the vaginal epithelium, a decrease in elasticity and a weakening of defenses. The first manifestation is the complete inability to have sex because of pain or vaginal bleeding after intercourse. Some people also show frequent urination (also known as postmenopausal overactive bladder syndrome), a feeling of swelling and burning in the vagina, and yellow discharge with a bad odor. Vaginal douche, 100 ml of 0.5% metronidazole solution is used for douching and then topical Prostigmine soft capsules. Continuous 1-2 weeks is sufficient. Candida vaginitis Presenting with severe itching of the vulva and profuse leucorrhoea like bean curd. Vaginal douche with 200 ml of 5% sodium bicarbonate. Apply clotrimazole pessary after rinsing. Continuous for one week. Bacterial vaginosis: manifests as purulent leucorrhoea, odor, high volume, mild itching or no itching. Vaginal douche, 100 ml of 0.5% metronidazole solution after rinsing and metronidazole suppository for one week.
