What are the causes of femoral head necrosis?

Femoral osteonecrosis is a deformation of the femoral head due to necrosis and resorption of bone tissue in the femoral head caused by various causes of impaired blood circulation in the femoral head. The main clinical manifestation is pain and dysfunction at the hip joint. The main factors leading to femoral head necrosis are as follows: 1. Alcoholic femoral head necrosis. The accumulation of alcohol in the body caused by long-term heavy drinking leads to the increase of blood lipids and damage to liver function. Elevated blood lipids, resulting in increased blood viscosity, slowing blood flow, so that blood coagulation changes, and thus can make the blood vessels blocked, bleeding or fat embolism, resulting in osteonecrosis. Clinical manifestations are aggravation after drinking, walking duck walk, heart failure, weakness, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, etc. 2, traumatic femoral head necrosis. Such as external impact caused by femoral neck fracture, hip dislocation, hip joint sprain and contusion. Trauma is the main factor causing femoral head necrosis. However, the occurrence and extent of ischemic necrosis of traumatic femoral head mainly depends on the degree of vascular destruction and the compensatory ability of collateral circulation. 3, drug femoral head necrosis. Due to the need for disease treatment and a large number or long-term use of hormones, resulting in metabolic changes, especially fat metabolism disorders, the development of abnormal distribution of fat. Recently, it is believed that the occurrence of femoral head necrosis is directly related to the type, dosage form and route of administration of hormones, which is not proportional to the total amount and time of hormones. However, the long-term use of large amounts of hormones or excessive daily doses, dose increases and decreases suddenly is also one of the reasons for the occurrence of necrosis of the femoral head. 4, other factors leading to femoral head necrosis: 1, osteoporosis leading to femoral head necrosis; 2, flat hip leading to femoral head necrosis; 3, abnormal bone marrow hyperplasia leading to femoral head necrosis; 4, wind, cold, wet leading to femoral head necrosis; 5, liver and kidney deficiency leading to femoral head necrosis; 6, bone tuberculosis combined with osteonecrosis; 7, post-surgical osteonecrosis; 8, congenital hip dysplasia, pneumatic, radioactive, blood disease Sexual diseases can also cause osteonecrosis of the femoral head. Although there are many factors that can lead to femoral head necrosis in daily life, but we do early detection and early treatment, there will be no serious consequences and no risk of disability.
