For patients with lumbar bone rattling, it is mainly caused by abnormal friction of the small joints of the lumbar region. This condition is most often seen in lumbar muscle strain and lumbar myofasciitis, which cause the soft tissues on the back side of the lumbar region to tighten, resulting in the small joints being tightly bound, thus causing the small joints to rub abnormally when moving and causing the bones in the lumbar region to rattle. In the case of lumbar bone degeneration and osteophytes, cartilage degeneration may occur in the small joints of the lumbar region, and when the degenerated cartilage rubs against each other during activities, it may cause obvious bone rattling in the lumbar region, accompanied by obvious pain in the lumbar region or obvious soreness and swelling in the lumbar region.
