Cervical non-fusion technology-DCI

DCI is shorthand for Dynamic Cervical Inplant, or cervical dynamic implant device. Cervical spine surgery is becoming more and more common, and for single-segment cervical spondylosis, stabilization after decompression is an important part of the procedure. From simple bone grafting, plate fixation, fusion device implantation, to cervical artificial discs, it can be said that there are more and more options in front of doctors and patients. Currently, DCI technology is also being developed at the provincial hospital. This is a type of technology between fusion and cervical artificial disc, and its biggest advantage is that it is simple to operate and less damaging to the patient – it does not require the taking of autologous iliac bone graft, and is technically simpler to operate than artificial disc.
