How long does it take for vaginitis to heal

The duration of vaginal inflammatory disease treatment depends on the specific situation of the patient. The usual treatment time for common vaginal inflammation is about 7 days; for complicated or particularly severe vaginal inflammation, the treatment time can be extended to about 14 days; and for persistent vaginal inflammation, such as recurrent mycosis fungoides, the treatment time can be extended to 6 months as appropriate. Vaginitis in the clinic is mainly treated for inflammation and bacteria. It is also necessary to take appropriate measures for the cause of the induced inflammation, which may recur if the cause cannot be eradicated. Therefore, there are individual differences in the time to cure vaginitis. Patients should adhere to the medication during the treatment process and should not stop it easily after the symptoms improve to prevent recurrence. During treatment, patients are advised to keep their vulva clean, change their underwear regularly, avoid intercourse, combine work and rest, get enough sleep and be emotionally stable. At the same time, avoid eating spicy and stimulating food, quit smoking and alcohol, and go to the hospital for review after the clinical symptoms disappear.
