Agoraphobia, or place phobia, is also known as agoraphobia, party phobia, etc. It is the most common type of phobia. It mainly manifests itself as a fear of certain specific environments, such as heights, squares, confined environments, crowded public places, or a fear of entering shops, theatres, stations or taking public transport. Often there is no immediate exit from these places and the patient fears that there will be no help or escape from these places, so they try to avoid these environments, or are even afraid to go out at all, which ultimately affects their daily work and life. If not treated effectively, the condition usually becomes chronic and should be treated aggressively.
