Early treatment of ptosis in children

  Congenital ptosis not only affects aesthetics, but it has been reported abroad that congenital ptosis can cause amblyopia due to the masking effect of the eyelid, which can easily cause form deprivation in the masked eye. Furthermore, it can cause refractive abnormalities in the affected eye. In most cases of astigmatism, the masking effect of the eyelid affects the development of the refractive system. This is why it is so important to treat congenital ptosis in every way possible. We offer a full range of treatments for ptosis in newborn babies that are unique to Children’s Hospital.
