Can the itchy allergy to shrimp heal itself?

Due to differences in individual constitution, some patients may develop allergies after eating shrimp, and if the patient eats shrimp that causes itching all over the body, it usually does not heal on its own. Shrimp is rich in protein, but some patients can develop allergic symptoms after eating it, such as swelling of the tongue and throat, rash, and itching. If the symptoms of allergy caused by eating shrimp are mild, only localized erythema and itching, the patient can observe and generally stop eating shrimp, the itching and other symptoms can subside on their own. If the degree of allergy caused by eating shrimp is more severe, with itching all over the body, or even triggered by laryngeal edema or shock, then the patient cannot heal himself and needs to go to the hospital immediately for emergency resuscitation. Once allergies to specific foods are discovered, patients should avoid eating them and pay attention to the ingredients in processed foods to understand the hidden sources of food allergens and avoid the reoccurrence of allergies.
