After thyroid cancer surgery, it is common to find an increase in thyroid globulin antibodies during thyroid function tests. This condition does not mean the recurrence of thyroid cancer and some metastasis problems after surgery. In fact, the increase of globulin antibody in the short term after thyroid cancer surgery is caused by an inflammatory irritation reaction in the postoperative incision and the tissues around the thyroid gland. This condition does not indicate some special problems. First of all, when such an increase occurs, it must be reviewed regularly, and in terms of dietary structure and treatment, it must be supplemented with eugenol to replace the problem of insufficient thyroxine function. Therefore, in addition to regular review of thyroid cancer indicators, we should also pay attention to the dietary structure and avoid spicy and stimulating foods after thyroid cancer surgery. Especially, avoid eating seaweed and seafood with high iodine content to protect thyroid cancer from metastasis and recurrence after surgery.
