Type 1 diabetes is more common in children, accounting for about 90% of all types of diabetes in childhood, and the incidence rate in China in recent years has been 2/100,000-5/100,000, or 2-5 per 100,000 children per year, with an average annual growth rate of 5%-34% in children <5 years old.
