What causes tongue and lips to tingle

The causes of numbness of the tongue and lips include physiological factors, intracranial diseases, allergies and so on.
1. Physiological factors: when eating spicy and stimulating food, the tongue and lips will feel numb due to stimulation. After a period of time, the symptoms will gradually decrease until they disappear.

3. Allergy: Allergy to food or drugs can lead to numbness of the tongue and lips, often accompanied by body itching and other symptoms.
