Characteristics of chickenpox rash

The rash of chickenpox first occurs on the trunk and head, gradually expanding to the face and finally to the extremities. Since the rash appears in stages and batches, the rash can be seen as a macular rash, papule, herpes and crusted rash at the same time during the course of the disease, and the mucous membranes of the mouth, pharynx or vulva can also have herpes. The rash is usually preceded by 1-2 days of low fever, malaise, anorexia, chills, and general malaise, and after the disease has healed, the rash does not leave a scar.
