Who is suitable for IVF

In vitro fertilization-embryo transfer (IVF-ET), as it is commonly referred to, is an artificial method of fertilizing eggs and sperm outside the body and developing them into early embryos, which are then transferred to the mother’s uterus for development. The indications for IVF-ET are: 1. Gamete transport disorders caused by various factors in the female, such as bilateral tubal obstruction, resection, hydrocele or loss of peristalsis and egg grasping function after tubal inflammation, or intrapelvic adhesions; 2. Ovulation disorders: refractory ovulation disorders that fail to result in pregnancy after repeated conventional treatment or ovulation promotion treatment combined with artificial insemination, such as intractable polycystic ovary syndrome, ovulation abnormalities, etc.; 3. Endometriosis, still not pregnant after surgery or medication; 4. Unexplained infertility, all tests are normal and other methods of fertility assistance such as artificial insemination have failed many times; 5. Immunological infertility, ineffective after other methods of treatment; 6. Male partner with oligospermia, weak sperm and teratozoospermia, not pregnant by artificial insemination or the severity of the male partner is not suitable for artificial insemination.
