Cervical spondylosis with numbness and weakness in the hands suggests that the nerves in the cervical spine have been compressed. If it is the first time you visit us, we generally recommend conservative treatment first, through rest, physical therapy, medication, and functional exercise to see if it can be relieved. Only after three months of regular conservative treatment with poor results will surgery be considered. If the nerve compression is from the anterior side, we usually take the anterior surgery; if the compression is from the posterior side or there are many segments, we usually take the posterior surgery.
