What antibiotics are used for infectious diarrhea

Infectious diarrhea is usually treated with cephalosporin or quinolone antibiotics, such as cefdinir, cefmenoxime or norfloxacin, ofloxacin and so on, which are more commonly used in clinical treatment of infectious diarrhea. Before the use of antibiotics, it is recommended that it is best to visit a hospital and use antibiotics as appropriate only after the doctor has completed relevant tests to clarify the diagnosis, and not to abuse antibiotics on your own to avoid drug resistance. For diarrhea that is not very serious, probiotic treatment is generally preferred and antibiotics may not be used first. If the infection is serious and it is clear that it is a bacterial infection with fever, then antibiotic treatment can be chosen. If the diarrhea is caused by a viral infection no antibiotics can be used, antiviral drugs must be used.
