The treatment of paediatric eczema is
(a) When paediatric eczema is in the acute stage, a topical stove glycolic lotion may be chosen for application if there is no exudate, or a cold compress of 1% to 4% boric acid solution may be used if there is exudate.
In the subacute stage, bathing with warm water once a day at night and applying cream to relieve itching and reduce inflammation.
When in the chronic stage, choose to wash the skin with warm water and then apply ointment.
