1. Whether you are suitable for IVF: First of all, both infertile couples need to be examined at the Reproductive Medicine Clinic to confirm whether you are suitable for IVF. We will choose the treatment plan according to your situation. 2.Before carrying out “IVF” fertility treatment, prepare “three certificates”: (1) both sides of the original ID card and photocopies; (2) the original marriage certificate and photocopies; (3) family planning institutions issued by the birth certificate (the second child with the second child birth certificate). Before the treatment, both infertile couples need to complete the following tests: Male: semen examination, external genitalia examination, blood type and Rh (D), AIDS, syphilis screening, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, Gonococcus. For those who need to undergo intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), chromosomal karyotype will be added for both sexes. Female: endocrinology, chlamydia, leukorrhea routine, cervical scraping, blood type and Rh (D), AIDS, syphilis, hepatitis B penta, hepatitis C, liver and kidney function, blood sedimentation, blood routine, coagulation function, chest X-ray, urinalysis, electrocardiogram. 4. Informed consent form for in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer and informed consent form for assisted reproductive technology follow-up signed by both husband and wife. 5. Controlled super-ovulation: firstly, pituitary down-regulation: commonly used drugs are GnRH-a (Inhibitors, research, lifescience, medical). The purpose is to inhibit the LH elevation and LH peak in the cycle of super-ovulation, so that the development of eggs can be better and more synchronized, and after the descending regulation meets the requirements, the ovulation-promoting drugs will be used to promote the development of multiple follicles. Controlled superovulation: application of exogenous Gn (e.g., recombinant follicular growth hormone, urotensin, etc.) to promote the development of multiple follicles, generally about 10 days of medication, in order to evaluate the response to follicle growth stimulating medication and to determine the time of egg retrieval, the need to monitor the size of the follicle using vaginal ultrasound and with the measurement of the level of blood hormones, to adjust the amount of medication. Starting every 3~4 days ultrasound test and blood hormone level measurement, follicle development to a certain size need to be daily ultrasound monitoring and blood hormone level measurement. Inject HCG 10000IU at the right time and collect eggs after 34-36 hours. 6. Egg retrieval: Egg retrieval under the guidance of transvaginal ultrasound, with less surgical damage, no need to worry too much. Generally, there is no need for painless treatment (please inform the doctor in advance if you require painless surgery), and you can leave the hospital after 0.5~1 hour of rest and observation. 7. Laboratory culture: The husband’s semen should be retained on the day of egg retrieval (if it is difficult to retrieve the sperm, please inform the doctor in advance). The sperm and eggs will be put into a CO2 incubator in the laboratory for in vitro fertilization and culture. 8. Embryo transfer: 3 days after the egg retrieval, the embryos are transferred into the uterine cavity using a very thin, soft tube, which is completely painless. Normally 2 embryos are transferred, 3 embryos can be transferred for women over 35 years old or for the second cycle of assisted conception. Post-transfer management: After egg retrieval, progesterone or HCG is injected into the muscle to support the corpus luteum. After the operation, you need to pay attention to the urine output, measure the abdominal circumference and weight, and keep in touch if there is any change. On the 14th day after embryo transfer, come to the hospital for urine pregnancy test and blood hCG to determine whether you are pregnant. In general, 3-4 weeks after the transfer, repeat ultrasound to check whether the pregnancy is intrauterine and the number of pregnancies. If 3 or more pregnancies are found, abortion is necessary to ensure the safety of mother and baby. After delivery, please call or write to us to let us know how the delivery went and the sex and weight of the baby, as well as whether there are any deformities.
