Methods of amblyopia training

Amblyopia is a common clinical ophthalmic disease in children. Commonly used amblyopia training methods include masking therapy, fine visual acuity training, grating training, and red filter therapy, as well as network therapy, which has emerged in recent years. There are six main types of amblyopia training methods as follows. The first type is masking therapy. The first type is masking therapy, which promotes the development of the amblyopic eye by masking the dominant eye, which can have an inhibitory effect on the development of the amblyopic eye. The second type of training is fine visual acuity training. Depending on the specific condition of the amblyopic patient, an appropriate fine visual acuity training method is chosen to help restore normal visual acuity levels. The third type of training is grating training. By using a multimedia computer, the patient’s visual function is trained to improve the symptoms of amblyopia. The fourth type is red light filter therapy. Through the stimulation of red light, the development of visual cells can be stimulated thus treating amblyopia.
