Foreskin impaction is a condition in which the foreskin cannot return to its normal position after being turned up over the glans. It is characterized by severe local pain, redness and swelling of the head of the penis, and edema of the foreskin. The longer the imbedded time, the more serious the swelling, if not treated in time, the foreskin and the head of the penis will occur ischemia, necrosis.
After the foreskin is embedded to reset it in a timely manner, generally early first use of manual reset. Early this reset method can be self-conducted, squeeze the glans for 5 minutes, reduce the glans edema, so that the glans shrinks, back to the foreskin.
If the foreskin is embedded for a long time and the manual reset cannot be recovered, you should go to the hospital as soon as possible and undergo a surgical reset. After the reset, give antibiotic treatment and perform circumcision after the inflammation subsides.
