How many days to treat bronchitis

Bronchitis usually requires treatment for about 1-2 weeks, depending on the patient’s physical condition and the condition of the patient. Bronchitis is divided into two types: acute and chronic bronchitis, which are infectious diseases of the lower respiratory tract caused by viruses, bacteria, and atypical pathogens such as mycoplasma and chlamydia, with fever, cough, and sputum as the main clinical symptoms. In clinical practice, acute bronchitis and chronic bronchitis are mainly treated symptomatically and etiologically, and the disease can be basically controlled after 1-2 weeks of cough suppression and sputum treatment. If the patient is an infant with low resistance or an elderly person, the treatment time should be extended. In addition, for patients with bronchitis, it is recommended to pay attention to proper exercise to strengthen the body, avoid getting cold after exertion, and ensure sufficient sleep and nutritional supply.
