What’s wrong with snotty leukorrhea?

If the leukorrhea is snotty but clear when a woman is ovulating, it is considered to be a sign of impending ovulation. If the leukorrhea is snotty in the late stages of pregnancy, it is often a sign of preterm labor. If a woman simply has snotty leukorrhea with vulvar itching, it is more likely to be caused by cervicitis or vaginitis. When a woman is ovulating, the stimulation of estrogen in her body often causes clear, lacrimal leucorrhea, and when the amount of leucorrhea is high, it looks like clear snot, which is often a physiological manifestation caused by the shedding of cervical mucus cells and is a sign of impending ovulation. For women in late pregnancy, the hormonal stimulation in the body often causes the cervix to shorten and flatten, so the mucus plug in the cervix is discharged from the vagina, causing a snotty leucorrhea, which usually occurs about 24 to 48 hours after the appearance of this leucorrhea. If a woman has thick, snotty leucorrhea with vulvar itching and other uncomfortable manifestations, then abnormal leucorrhea is often considered to be due to cervical or vaginal inflammation. This is why it is necessary to check the leucorrhoea routine to confirm the diagnosis and then to treat it with the right vaginal medication.
