HIV Testing Program

HIV testing programs are mainly as follows: 1. HIV antibody test: This method is the most commonly used. HIV antibody detection and initial screening are generally done by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. If the initial screening is suspicious, the blood sample will be sent to a laboratory with confirmatory status for confirmatory testing of HIV antibodies. Only if the initial screening and the confirmatory test are positive can the diagnosis of AIDS be confirmed. 2. This test is a very important indicator to assess the immune function of the patient, and the indicator is also used to determine the efficacy after the antiviral treatment; 3, HIV viral load test: this is a very important virological indicator. 4. HIV drug resistance testing: If the effect of antiviral treatment is not particularly good, or drug resistance testing before antiviral treatment, after antiviral treatment, AIDS patients should also be monitored for drug side effects, including blood and urine routine, liver and kidney function, chest X-ray, bone density, etc.
