How to order eye medication correctly?

1.Inquire whether there is any allergy history before dispensing; check the eyes. 2.Shake well before using the suspension. 3.Wash hands beforehand to avoid infection through finger contact. 4.Tilt your head upward as much as possible, or lie down flat. 5.Pull the lower eyelid away from the eye, you can use your index finger to pull the lower eyelid downward, or pinch the lower eyelid with your thumb and index finger and pull the lower eyelid outward. 6.Align the eye drop bottle nozzle to the eye and squeeze out a drop of eye drop (do not squeeze out multiple drops in a row) so that the eye drop is placed into the conjunctival sac within the eyelid. 7, Note that the eye drops bottle should be 10-15cm away from the eye, the eye drops bottle mouth should not touch the eye or eyelashes, and should not touch the eye to prevent the drops bottle from getting contaminated and scratching the eye. 8. Close your eyes (do not blink) for 3-5 minutes and gently press the upper and lower tear ducts at the inner corner of the eye (where the eyelid touches the bridge of the nose) with your fingers and hold them for two to three minutes to facilitate the absorption of the eye drops. Each kind of eye drops should be ordered at an interval of 5-10 minutes. 9. For early post-cataract surgery, corneal ulcers and corneal penetrating wounds, the eye dosing action should be gentle and avoid pressing on the surgical incision and ulcer wound above.
