What are the symptoms of lung fever?

  Lung heat is a medical term used in Chinese medicine, which is the opposite of lung cold in Chinese medicine. Lung fever can be caused by feeling wind-heat and poisonous evil, or by one’s own phlegm heat, by eating spicy and stimulating food, by drinking alcohol and smoking.  Lung fever has the manifestation of fever, the body temperature is usually 37℃ to 38℃, but there is no high fever, coughing and coughing phlegm, the phlegm is yellow sticky phlegm, it is not easy to cough out, and the volume of phlegm coughing is more, the smell is fishy, and in severe cases, there is pus and blood phlegm. In addition, some patients may feel chest pain, chest tightness, shortness of breath, irritability, headache, and generalized pain. Medium and small wet rales can be heard in the lungs with a stethoscope, and sometimes tubular whistling sounds can be heard. Most of the laboratory tests show signs of infection. If the infection is bacterial, the total white blood cell count is high and the neutrophil ratio is increased; if the infection is viral, the lymphocyte ratio is high, the total white blood cell count is normal or low, and the neutrophil ratio is decreased.  The symptoms of lung fever are mainly manifested by infection of the lungs, which can be bacterial or viral. Both from the TCM point of view and from the Western medical point of view, for lung fever, improving the immune system can play a preventive role.
