Laser treatment is usually not recommended for raised moles that have a large basal area (more than 3~4mm). Raised nevi, clinically known as warty nevi, are benign skin diseases caused by overgrowth of epidermal cells. Gene mutation and heredity are the main causes of the disease. The typical symptom is a yellowish brown warty papule that varies in size, shape and distribution, and the lesion can occur anywhere on the body. Any mole with a diameter of less than 2mm can be treated with laser; if the diameter is larger than 3~4mm, laser treatment is not recommended, but can be considered to be removed by freezing or surgery. If itching, pain, color deepening and other changes, we need to be vigilant about the possibility of malignant changes. It is recommended that patients who are willing to be treated go to regular hospitals for consultation, and ask specialists to give appropriate treatment plans and scientific and standardized treatment.
