With the arrival of summer vacation, students’ orthodontic treatment has reached its peak again. In the clinic, we often see just a detailed introduction of several steps of complete dental treatment, then another student’s parents come, then repeat the introduction again, and the student’s parents may not be able to understand in the limited time. I would like to introduce a few necessary steps of orthodontics: 1. first, the doctor should check the eruption of the teeth and the jaw surface, it is important to observe the lateral shape. 2. take the mold shape and record the misshapen jaw. 3. take a lateral cephalometric film. (Steps 1, 2 and 3 are done in our hospital.) 4, go to Zhangdian to take a whole jaw surface tomography. At this point, the case record is basically completed, and I will carefully design the treatment plan based on the above information, which is commonly known as the drawing design before building a building. Parents need to be patient in this process because I do not give treatment plans hastily. Each patient is scientifically analyzed and calculated, and the best treatment plan is finally designed.
