How are lower eyelid bags surgically removed?

As we age, facial aging is dominated by sagging skin around the eyes, sagging upper eyelid canthus, and lower eyelid bags, or bags under the eyes, that are prominent. Genetics is also an important reason, people whose parents have obvious bags under the eyes are more likely to have bags under the eyes, which appear at a younger age. There are also people who are not well rested and use their eyes excessively, also at a younger age is the appearance of bags. We believe there are three principles for the formation of lower eyelid bags: 1. gradual relaxation of the lower lid skin with age; 2. relaxation of the orbicularis muscle of the lower lid; 3. prolapse of the orbital fat of the lower lid after skin and muscle relaxation. These three causes lead to the formation of a pouch-like swollen protrusion on the lower lid, which is especially noticeable during poor sleep and morning waking. The treatment of lower eyelid pouches is to deal with these three causes. It is the external incision method to remove the bags, which involves removing the excess skin, tightening the flaccid muscles, and cutting away the excess fat. Of course, when the patient is younger and has good skin and muscle elasticity, internal liposuction can be taken to remove bags under the eyes. Typical case: Patient, female, 38 years old. 2 weeks after lower eyelid bag surgery. Patient, female, 65 years old. 1 month after lower eyelid bag surgery.
