Elimination of sores and lumps often requires a combination of internal and external treatments. The general rule of internal treatment of sores and ulcers is to eliminate, support and supplement, that is, when the sores and ulcers have not yet become pus in the early stage, the method of elimination is used to make them dissipate, and for the cause of the disease, the condition of the use of clearing the heat and detoxification (clearing the body of heat and toxicity), and the camping of blood stasis, the management of qi, the relief of the epidermis, the warmth of the body, the internal and the management of dampness and other treatments, of which clearing the heat and detoxification of the sore and ulcers is the most commonly used treatment. The general rule of external treatment of sores is to eliminate, putrefy and converge. In the early stage, for Yang evidence, Jin Huang San (cream) and Yu Lu San (cream) can be used; for Yin evidence, Hui Yang Yulong San (cream), Yang and Condensation Cream can be used; for semi-Yin and semi-Yang evidence, Chong He San (cream) can be used. In the middle stage, pus should be lifted up and dispelled, pus should be cut open and drained, and pus should be lifted up and dispelled; for Yang cases, 8.2 Dan and 9.1 Dan should be used to lift up pus and dispel decay, and for Yin cases, 7.3 Dan should be used to lift up pus and dispel decay. In the later stage, it is advisable to regenerate the muscle and tighten the mouth, and when the rotting pus is gone, use muscle regeneration powder and Eight Treasures Dan, and use cotton pads or expanding the wound according to the situation. If the patient has sores, swollen and poisonous lumps, do not diagnose on your own, need to go to the regular medical institutions, follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment, to prevent further development of the condition.
