What ointment to use for women’s itchy pubic area

Female pubic itching need to be based on the cause of the medication, generally considered to be vaginitis, vulvar eczema, contact dermatitis, folliculitis and other conditions caused by the usual use of antibiotic creams, anti-fungal creams, glucocorticoid creams and other drug therapy.
1. Vaginitis: vulvovaginal pseudomycosis (can apply miconazole nitrate cream with clotrimazole suppositories), trichomonas (topical metronidazole cream with metronidazole vaginal effervescent tablets), bacterial (clindamycin cream with metronidazole vaginal effervescent tablets) and so on.
2. Vulvar eczema: can be treated with glucocorticoid ointment such as dexamethasone acetate ointment and hydrocortisone cream.
3. Contact dermatitis: for example, if women are allergic to panties and sanitary napkins, 3% boric acid solution can be applied as wet compresses, together with mometasone furoate cream and other glucocorticosteroid ointment to treat.
4. Folliculitis: local hair follicle inflammation can irritate the skin leading to itching, can use erythromycin ointment, moxifloxacin ointment and other antibiotic ointment to treat.
Women’s pubic itching may also be caused by other reasons, it is recommended to go to the hospital in a timely manner, after a clear diagnosis for targeted treatment. The above drugs need to be used in accordance with the doctor’s instructions, do not self-medication.
