What are the excimer surgery options?

Standard – LASIK Features: The basic modality of excimer laser surgery. All other modalities are optimized and developed on this basis. It is suitable for patients with good eye conditions (e.g., low refractive error, thick corneas, regular morphology). Surface cutting – LASEK Features: No corneal flap is required, avoiding the long-term risk of a corneal flap and the additional aberrations this entails. It is suitable for patients who enjoy antagonistic sports or occupations with a risk of ocular impact and for patients with relatively thin corneas. Personalized (individualized surgical cutting plan based on each patient’s eye) Ultra-thin LASIK Features: Creates an ultra-thin corneal flap thereby preserving a thicker corneal stromal bed. This results in better post-operative corneal stability and reduced incidence of myopic regression and corneal dilation. Suitable for most people. Topography-guided LASIK, LASEK Features: Suitable for some people with extremely irregular corneal morphology or high aberrations. Relatively improve the quality of vision and night vision by improving its irregularity.
