When to start applying scar removal cream

It is generally recommended to start applying scar removal cream after the wound is completely healed, and surgical wounds are recommended to be applied after the stitches are removed, if the incision is well healed. For broken, red, swollen and unhealed wounds, application should be deferred and local wound healing should be promoted before application. Usually, once a scar is formed, later treatment and repair will be relatively difficult. Therefore, in order to reduce the formation of scar, scar removal cream should be applied as early as possible. The earlier it is applied, the better the effect of preventing scar proliferation, but for unhealed wounds, hold off applying it. When there are scabs, you need to wait for the scabs to fall off naturally before applying. When applying, usually 1-2 times a day, gently pat or massage after application to promote local absorption of the cream. Scar removal cream needs to be applied consistently, usually recommended for a minimum of about 3 months. Normally, the local skin should be kept clean and dry, avoiding friction, irritation and scratching.
