Symptoms: Redness and swelling of the perineum within 1 – 2 months after birth, infection and pus, fecal discharge after breaking, may form rectal perineal fistula or navicular fistula. Treatment: When there is redness and swelling in the perineum, apply antibacterial and anti-inflammatory drugs, wash with local warm water, and keep the area clean and dry. When a rectal perineal fistula or navicular fistula is formed, keep the area clean and dry. Surgical treatment is possible after the child is 2 – 3 years old. Transanal rectal repair of fistula is less invasive, scarless and effective. It should never be treated as an anal fistula by incision or hanging wires.
