Is it better to wear myopic glasses? Or not?

Is it better to wear myopic glasses? Or not? When is the best time to wear them? Are glasses better to wear or not to wear? It depends on what kind of glasses. Generally myopic glasses should be worn in daily life, because myopia is an obstacle to seeing far away. Daily life if most of the time in the outdoors is to see 5 meters away, do not wear glasses vision will be severely impaired, can not see the details of the object, the eye is not good. If you are indoors, I am nearsighted within 200 degrees, you can not wear them, but those who exceed 200 degrees should wear them.   What are the disadvantages of not wearing glasses? The brain suffers the most from not wearing glasses. The brain receives more than 95% of the information from the eyes, and a large part of it is at a distance. For example, if you are visiting a scenic area, you cannot see the distant scenery without glasses, and your brain does not receive the corresponding information, which is important for the development of the brain. Glasses are also a protective layer for the eye, preventing damage to the eye from things like exploding beer bottles and firecrackers. For a long time, there has been a lot of debate in the industry about whether myopia should be worn more often. The following points are made for reference. One, for myopia more than 3.00 degrees of moderate myopia, especially more than 6.00 degrees of high myopia, their distance vision is very poor, whether to see far or near to insist on wearing glasses is better. This is because if they do not wear glasses, it is impossible for them to see clearly through their own adjustment of the distant target. Therefore, it will affect their judgment, analysis and appreciation of things. It is not conducive to study and work, and they will encounter difficulties in life. Although their near vision is good, they often need to put the target very close. This not only tends to cause visual fatigue, but also promotes the progression of myopia. For example, a person with 6.00 degrees of myopia has a far point of 16 cm and can only read and write within 16 cm of each other. For this reason close work and study, both eyes must be in a strong state of convergence. Long-term tension and contraction of the extraocular muscles to compress the eyeball, coupled with intraocular congestion, etc., will contribute to the rise in intraocular pressure. For developing adolescents, this will undoubtedly lead to the lengthening of the anterior and posterior diameters of the eyes and accelerate the progression of myopia. Second, for myopic eyes with astigmatism, I think they should wear glasses in general. If they don’t wear glasses, they can’t see the target clearly, no matter it is near or far. For this reason, they constantly adjust the distance between their eyes and the target, and involuntarily try to strengthen the adjustment to change the vision. Even squinting, frowning, head tilting and other methods to compensate for the lack of vision, so it is easy to occur visual fatigue, causing eye soreness, swelling, pain, tears and other discomfort. It is also possible to incur a series of symptoms like neurasthenia such as faint brain swelling, loss of eyes and dreaminess. Some people are also prone to blepharitis, wheals, chalazion, and other eye complications. In the long run, it will also make the skin around the eyes and the corners of the eyes crawl with wrinkles prematurely. Third, for myopic people with less than 3.00 degrees of myopia and no significant astigmatism, should they wear their glasses more often? On this issue, opinions may be more divided. Many people believe that glasses should still be worn often, whether they look far or near. The reason is that only after they wear glasses, their adjustment and convergence can be harmonized and normalized. Vision can only be normal, thus helping to relieve fatigue and prevent the development of myopia. However, there are many people who believe that it is better for people with low myopia to not wear glasses when they look close (reading and writing). Personally, I agree with the former because myopic patients are in the state of orthokeratology after wearing suitable glasses, and the adjustment and convergence functions are restored to their natural relationship. Wearing glasses is not only to improve vision, but also to read and work at an appropriate distance, so that there is a normal coordination between the regulation and convergence functions of the eyes and to avoid eye fatigue.  The right glasses won’t get deeper and deeper The development of myopia is not directly related to wearing glasses. If myopic patients wear the right glasses and pay attention to eye hygiene, their myopia will stabilize at a certain level. In daily life, we should closely observe the changes of vision before and after wearing glasses, and keep records, regularly review the vision, eye position and other related items, and find out the problems in time to adjust the daring light of glasses and other necessary cross-treatment measures, in order to maintain the original vision or even to promote vision improvement to a certain extent, so as to lay a good foundation for future work, and can wear glasses at the right time according to the different needs of age and occupation, in order to reduce or To overcome the occurrence of eye fatigue.
