Capillary dilation, commonly known as erythrocytosis. It is divided into two categories, primary and secondary, the former cause is unknown, the latter is common in people due to persistent sun exposure (i.e. photoaging) or long-term exposure to wind, cold and heat, and some reports suggest that the disease is closely related to genetics. In clinical practice, we also found that facial capillary dilation is also related to long-term inappropriate application of cosmetics, which is because some unqualified cosmetics contain hormones, and long-term unreasonable application will lead to capillary dilation caused by hormonal dermatitis. At present, the treatment of facial capillary dilation in our department uses the fourth generation of intense light equipment (Lumenis One), which causes the capillaries to coagulate rapidly due to the effect of light and heat (similar to the process of steaming chicken cake), and then is broken down and absorbed by the body’s phagocytic system to achieve the purpose of treatment. Generally, 6 treatments are required for satisfactory results. In addition, intense light can alleviate the inflammatory response of the skin through photomodulation, and play a very good desensitizing effect for sensitive skin. We have treated many patients with seborrheic dermatitis, urticaria and chronic eczema with bright light, and have achieved good results. Some patients have skin sensitivity related to their own thin skin. After intense light treatment, the skin is significantly thickened and the sebaceous film is restored.
