The presence of hemoptysis in bronchiectasis is considered to be a ruptured mucous membrane bleeding in the pharynx or a ruptured mucous membrane bleeding in the bronchi. Bronchitis is an acute disease that occurs in the bronchial mucosa and surrounding tissues, and can be caused by viral or bacterial infections. If the cough is intense or stubborn, it can cause the mucous membrane of the throat to rupture and bleed, resulting in hemoptysis. In addition, the strong inflammatory reaction of bronchitis can cause greater damage to the bronchial mucosa, which can lead to mucosal rupture, capillary hemorrhage or arteriovenous hemorrhage in the bronchial tubes, resulting in hemoptysis. Therefore, when hemoptysis occurs in bronchitis, laryngoscopy and CT examination of the lungs should be improved promptly, and if necessary, bronchoscopy should be improved to clarify the specific cause of bleeding.
