Physical examination for cervical spondylosis

After suffering from cervical spondylosis, the following physical examinations should be routinely performed: 1. Generally, the cervical head press test and brachial plexus nerve pull test are needed to determine whether there is nerve irritation and nerve compression, and when the head press test is positive, it indicates that the nerve root on one side is irritated and compressed. A positive brachial plexus nerve pull test is also indicative of nerve compression on one side.2. Check the muscle strength and skin sensation of the upper extremities in detail, abnormal skin sensation in one place indicates a lesion of the corresponding nerve root.3. Check the biceps and triceps reflexes to determine if there are abnormal reflexes.
