Is 150 degrees of eyes considered myopia?

Eyes with 150 degrees are considered mildly myopic. Myopia, also known as short-sightedness, is a condition in which a person can only see near but not far, and is characterized by a significant decrease in distance vision but still normal near vision. Myopia can be divided into mild, moderate and high myopia. The degree of glasses is less than 300 degrees for mild myopia, 300-600 degrees for moderate myopia, and above 600 degrees for high myopia. Mild and moderate myopia can usually be corrected by wearing frame glasses, while patients need to maintain reasonable eye habits, minimize the time spent in close proximity, and visit the hospital every six months to a year to review vision and optometry. If the prescription changes, glasses should be replaced in time to slow down the growth of vision. Patients with high myopia should have regular eye examinations to prevent complications and should pay attention to not engaging in heavy physical labor and strenuous sports to prevent retinal detachment and avoid overuse of the eyes. In daily life, patients should pay attention to eye hygiene, do not rub their eyes with dirty hands or overuse their eyes, look at more green pictures or backgrounds to relieve eye fatigue, and consume more foods rich in lutein and vitamin E and vitamin A.
