Explanation of “disease enters through the mouth”

With the improvement of people’s living standards, the people’s table of coarse food gradually less, chicken, duck, fish, meat, refined rice and white flour gradually more. However, the age of onset of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and tumors is getting younger and younger. People not only ask, what’s wrong? As the saying goes, “disease comes from the mouth”, due to the accelerated pace of modern life, fast food diet is gradually popular, the diet structure tends to westernize, and junk food is flooding the market. People increasingly consume high fat, high sugar and other high-calorie foods and high-salt foods. With the excessive intake of high fat, a large amount of cholesterol and triglyceride will be deposited in the blood vessels, forming lipid plaques like rice porridge, while the artery walls will thicken and harden and the lumen will shrink, forming atherosclerosis. If this change exists in the coronary arteries, it is called “coronary atherosclerosis”. When coronary atherosclerosis develops to a certain extent, it will affect the blood and oxygen supply to the heart muscle, leading to myocardial ischemia or necrosis and angina pectoris or myocardial infarction; similarly, when cerebral artery atherosclerosis reaches a certain extent, it will cause cerebral artery ischemia and hypoxia, resulting in acute cerebrovascular accidents such as cerebral infarction or cerebral hemorrhage. The salt intake of 6g/day is appropriate, while the average daily salt intake of Chinese people is about 27g. High salt diet will lead to water and sodium storage in the body, over time, will cause hypertensive diseases. High-sugar, high-fat diet will lead to obesity and overweight, increased insulin resistance in the body, feedback caused by excessive secretion of insulin, over time, the pancreas is overwhelmed, islet ß-cell function is impaired, leading to the occurrence of type 2 diabetes. Therefore, in recent years, young people suffer from hyperlipidemia, hypertension diabetes, coronary heart disease acute heart attack, stroke opportunities are increasing, the probability of young people dying suddenly as a result is also increasing year by year. Therefore, it is not advisable to eat more high-fat, high-calorie foods, such as animal offal, animal fat, cream, chocolate, etc. It is advisable to eat more vegetables and fruits, soy products, lean meat, fish, vegetable oils, etc., to develop healthy habits. Nowadays, people are socializing more, eating big fish and meat, fatty and greasy opportunities, drinking more, and every party seems not to drink enough buddy. Unbeknownst to us, the chances of getting fatty liver increase significantly in the long run. And the main component of alcohol will make the liver cells degenerate necrosis, leading to alcoholic hepatitis. If both continue to develop, it will eventually lead to cirrhosis, which can lead to many deadly complications: such as upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage, hepatic encephalopathy, liver ascites and spontaneous peritonitis, liver and kidney syndrome, primary liver cancer, etc. People often eat high fat, high sugar, chocolate and other high-calorie foods, which can cause delayed emptying of the gastrointestinal tract, leading to functional dyspepsia GERD, functional constipation and other diseases. The incidence of bloating, acid reflux, heartburn and constipation is much greater than in the past, which is related to the change in people’s diet structure. Severe gastroesophageal reflux disease can cause esophageal stricture, swallowing difficulties, etc.; severe constipation can cause mechanical intestinal obstruction, and even cause colon cancer and other diseases. Chinese people like to have a lively dinner, a large number of people gathered together left a chopstick, right a chopstick, chopsticks touching chopsticks eating hot, spittle splashed. It seems that the distance is closer and the feelings are deeper. If the Westerners like the meal system, individuals eat their own side of that one, they feel cold, raw, there is a distance between each other. In fact, this way of eating is most likely to cause the uncontrolled spread of infectious diseases. For example, one of the ways of transmission of hepatitis A and E is oral-oral transmission. Another drawback of not sharing meals and not using communal chopsticks and spoons is that it causes Helicobacter pylori infection, which is a bacterium that lives in the human stomach and is associated with many stomach diseases. For example, H. pylori is one of the most important factors in the development of chronic gastritis and gastric cancer. Therefore, when eating together, it is best to share meals or use communal chopsticks. Fried, smoked and pickled foods are delicious and easy to keep for a long time. In winter, fresh vegetables are relatively expensive, so getting pickled vegetables on the table in the summer and fall is not only economical, but also increases appetite. However, there is often a hidden danger in pickled foods, that is, “nitrosamines”; fried foods contain polycyclic hydrocarbons; smoked foods contain 3,4-benzopyrene. These are the main culprits of tumors. In addition, eating smoked and drowned food and refined white rice and flour often leads to vitamin deficiency and scurvy and foot disease. Therefore, it is better to eat vegetables, meat, fish, etc., and also fresh ones. And to eat more brown rice, coarse grains, etc. From the above, it can be seen that “disease from the mouth” is not only a way to the onset of intestinal infectious diseases, in fact, a variety of diseases are related to the bad habits of diet. Therefore, it is very important to keep the “mouth” off.
