What characterizes hemorrhoids in adult women

Adult women have different symptoms depending on the type of hemorrhoids. Bleeding during bowel movements, itching and pain around the anus are the most common hemorrhoid symptoms. 1. External hemorrhoids manifest as pain or itching, mainly in the anal area. Swelling of the anus: the perianal area becomes swollen due to inflammation. Bleeding: Accompanied by bleeding after straining to defecate. 2. Internal hemorrhoids are located in the rectum and usually do not cause discomfort. However, under pressure and other triggers, the following symptoms may occur. (1) Painless bleeding during defecation: after normal defecation, one does not feel any discomfort in the anus, but bright red blood is found on the toilet paper or in the toilet bowl. (2) Itching: when internal hemorrhoids ooze mucus, it will irritate the anal canal skin and cause itching. (3) Discomfort: The patient may still have the urge to have a bowel movement after defecation, and this discomfort is caused by the prolapse of the internal hemorrhoidal piles at the end of the rectum. (4) Pain: Most internal hemorrhoids do not cause pain, but if large hemorrhoids prolapse from the anal opening and are squeezed by the anal sphincter, or if the hemorrhoidal nuclei become embedded, they may cause pain. 3. Mixed hemorrhoids, patients with mixed hemorrhoids may have symptoms of both external and internal hemorrhoids. Once hemorrhoids are detected and accompanied by uncomfortable symptoms, it is recommended that patients should actively seek medical treatment to avoid aggravation of the condition and induce other pathologies.
