Coffee spots in typical fibromas

Generally, typical neurofibromatosis presents with skin pigmentation spots, i.e., café au lait spots, often present at birth, occasionally occurring within a few months to a year after birth, often multiple, irregularly scattered on any body surface except the palmoplantar area, called milk café au lait spots because most of them are coffee-colored, oval or irregular in shape, increasing in size and number with age. Freckle-like pigmentation in the axillae and groin is also a characteristic of this disease. Treatment can be done by dye laser or YAG laser, or by topical application of 2% of Chiba Hydroquinone Cream.
