What is the principle of liposuction surgery?

Liposuction is a method of reducing the number of fat cells by reaching into the subcutaneous fat layer through a skin incision, breaking up the fat using different means, and suctioning the excess fat particles out of the body through negative pressure attraction. The common areas for fat aspiration are areas where fat is desirable to accumulate, such as upper abdomen, lower abdomen, side waist, upper buttocks, lower buttocks, thighs, calves, cheeks, lower jaw, upper arms, etc. Commonly used liposuction methods mainly have the following three types: 1, negative pressure liposuction: the use of negative pressure vacuum suction device (0.5 ~ 1.0 atmospheric pressure), and a metal suction tube with a suction hole at the end connected, through a small incision in the skin into the subcutaneous tissue, the local accumulation of fat tissue sucked out to improve the obese body shape. Negative pressure liposuction combined with swelling anesthesia is the most widely used because of its good surgical effect, simple operation and cheap price. 2.Resonance liposuction: The resonance instrument can produce mechanical waves in the subcutaneous fat, resonate with the fat tissue, and suck the dissolved fat cells out of the body while dissolving the fat. Resonance liposuction has the advantages of short time, large suction volume and less bleeding, which is especially suitable for weight loss and body shaping of local fat accumulation areas such as waist, abdomen, buttocks, limbs and back. 3, energy-assisted liposuction: This is the use of ultrasound, laser or radiofrequency energy to destroy the cells, and then suck the ruptured cells out of the body to achieve the effect of weight loss. Some energy-assisted liposuction devices can selectively destroy fat cells, while the reticular structure, blood vessels, nerves and lymphatic vessels can be retained intact and are not easy to cause vascular and nerve damage.
