Is bronchopneumonia a bronchiectasis?

Bronchopneumonia is a type of pneumonia, not bronchitis, and is much more serious than bronchitis. It is mainly caused by viral bacterial infections, which can cause fever, cough, sputum, shortness of breath, and even irritability and suffocating wheezing. When you do an examination, you will hear a fixed medium to fine wet rales in the lungs, and imaging of the lungs will also show changes of pneumonia, which requires active treatment with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory drugs, as well as various symptomatic supportive treatments. The incidence of bronchiectasis is higher in children under two years of age and may become more severe if not treated actively, causing systemic toxic symptoms and even respiratory failure. Bronchiectasis is an inflammation of the mucous membrane of the trachea and bronchi, which can be mild at the time of examination, and imaging examinations can only show thickening and disturbance of the lung texture.
