Self-care acupressure points for cervical spondylosis

Spring is humid, the climate is unpredictable, sometimes cold, sometimes hot, and the stimulation of the first warmth can cause vasoconstriction, causing pressure changes within the intervertebral discs. Long periods of looking down at the computer and cell phone can cause spasm fatigue of the neck muscles and induce cervical spondylosis. Cervical spondylosis, also known as cervical spine syndrome, can appear as neck pain, hand numbness, vertigo, insomnia, forgetfulness and other symptoms. Self-acupressure can provide relief. Symptoms are relieved by pressing the eight chakra rendezvous points. The eight rendezvous points refer to the points that pass through both the twelve meridians and the eight odd meridians. The Houxi point and the Shen pulse point are two of these eight chakra rendezvous points. The Houxi point is located on the proximal side of the ulnar side of the 5th finger after clenching the fist, at the head of the transverse palm line between the red and white flesh. It is commonly used in modern times for the treatment of acute lumbar sprains, falling pillows, neck stiffness, and tinnitus. The Shen pulse, alias Yang stilts, belongs to the foot sun bladder meridian. It passes through Yang Stilts. In the lateral part of the foot, in the depression directly below the outer ankle, it has the effect of tonifying Yang and benefiting Qi and draining water and dampness. Regularly press the above points with the fingertips firmly, feeling numbness and swelling pain, for 5-10 minutes each time.
