Thoughts after facial spasm surgery

A few days ago, I had a difficult facial muscle spasm surgery with Director Xiaohua Bu. The patient is a 60-year-old female patient who lives in Gaoling, Xi’an. She has a 20-year history of the disease and has had acupuncture, plasters and oral Chinese medicine, but the effect is not very obvious, and the left facial twitching is very obvious. He finally saw on TV that our hospital had successfully operated on a patient with a 20-year history of bilateral lateral spasms, so he came to our hospital with the intention of surgery. Before the operation, we improved the relevant examinations and routinely performed cranial MRI, which indicated that there was vascular compression of the left facial nerve and decided to operate on the patient. The patient had a history of more than 20 years, and the vessels and nerves were already adhered to each other. Finally, after an hour’s effort, the blood vessels and nerves were successfully separated (the usual operation may take half an hour to 40 minutes). After the operation, the director was relieved and said that the operation could have damaged the blood vessels or nerves if we were not careful, but it was finally completed. After the operation, the director said one thing, but all his efforts were on the operation. The director often teaches us that if a patient can give his life to you, he trusts you, so when we operate on a patient, we must be meticulous and not be sloppy. On the operating table, we may encounter a variety of situations, especially complex ones, we must be cautious, careful and careful again, and we must work hard in our profession to improve our business level. After the operation, the patient recovered very well and was very happy, always giving me words of gratitude, and when I saw this, I felt that my efforts were worthwhile.
