Usually a fatty diet is avoided for a week after surgery because the lymph nodes are cleared during surgery and there may be lymphatic fluid leaking from the wound, which is called “celiac disease”. Eating a large amount of fatty food during this period may aggravate this situation. This “contraindication” can be lifted 3 to 5 days after surgery when the lymphatic vessels are completely closed. One week to one month after surgery, you can gradually resume a normal diet, starting with easily digestible foods such as porridge and noodles, and gradually increasing the type and amount of food after you can move around and have normal exhaustion. After 1 month of surgery, the normal diet can be resumed.
