Xinjiang Orthopaedic Hospital surveyed more than 1,500 patients with femoral head necrosis in the past five years and found that alcohol caused 65% to 75% of the patients with the disease, and there is a clear trend of youth; nearly 80% of the patients are around 40 years old, and have a clear occupational tendency, most of them are social workers, such as department heads and sales people. After understanding that his femoral head necrosis is alcoholic, frequent socializing and alcoholism are the main causes of its onset. Long-term alcohol consumption leads to disorders of lipid metabolism in the body, resulting in microcirculatory disorders of the femoral head and ischemic necrosis of the femoral head. The late stage of necrosis may lead to lower limb disability. There may be no clinical symptoms in the early stage of the disease, and the initial clinical manifestations are only vague pain in one (or both) hip. As the disease progresses, the hip pain increases and claudication occurs. Most patients with osteonecrosis of the femoral head are already at an advanced stage when they are first diagnosed in the hospital. If the necrosis of the femoral head is detected early, it is possible to achieve good results through stepwise treatment. Experts remind that friends need to drink alcohol in moderation at parties.
